Kenanga Investors Berhad ("KIB") wishes to alert members of the public that a document purporting to be a licence issued by Bank Negara Malaysia authorising KIB to conduct activities relating to "shares and cryptocurrency" has come to our attention.

KIB wishes to clarify that:

1. The document is not issued, endorsed or authorised by KIB.
2. KIB has not authorised any person or entity to use such document on its behalf.
3. Any representation that KIB holds a licence from Bank Negara Malaysia to carry on activities described in the document, including activities relating to cryptocurrency trading or investments, should be treated with caution.
4. KIB is currently reviewing the matter and will take appropriate actions, including reporting the matter to the relevant authorities where necessary.

KIB has reason to believe that the document may be used by unknown parties to falsely represent KIB's regulatory status and to facilitate investment scam activities. Members of the public are strongly advised not to rely on the document for any investment decision and to independently verify the legitimacy of any investment offer through official channels before transferring funds or disclosing personal information.
