Kenanga Investors Berhad (“KIB”) has been made aware of scam attempts involving unauthorised individuals impersonating KIB employees and promoting purported investment schemes through messaging applications and social media platforms.

These individuals are falsely claiming to also represent Eq8 Capital Sdn Bhd ("Eq8"), a subsidiary of KIB, and have been misusing Eq8's name, logo, images, and corporate information to deceive members of the public and mislead potential investors.

Please be advised that neither KIB nor any of its subsidiaries offers any form of investment packages or conduct investment transactions through messaging applications and social media platforms.

We strongly urge our clients and the public to remain vigilant and exercise caution when approached with investment offers through unofficial or unverified channels. Do not disclose any personal, banking or financial information, and do not transfer funds in response to such communications.

If you encounter any suspicious activity or believe you may have been contacted by an impersonator, please cease all communication immediately.
