It has been brought to our attention that there has been a new attempt by unauthorised individuals to impersonate Kenanga Investors Berhad (“KIB”) and Kenanga Islamic Investors Berhad’s (“KIIB”) representatives to promote investment schemes and digital assets that are illegitimate across messaging applications, email and social media platforms.

These individuals have misused KIB and KIIB’ company and key management name, logo, images, and corporate information in attempts to deceive the public, going so far as to provide links for the public to validate their company information on regulators’ websites.

Because they are impersonating our representatives, our genuine company information may appear on these official sites, which can further confuse investors.

However, Kenanga Investors Berhad’s and/or its subsidiaries do not offer any form of investment packages, and we do not guarantee any investment returns. We also do not conduct any investment transactions through messaging applications and social media platforms.

We strongly urge our clients and the public to remain vigilant and avoid engaging in any investment offers made via unofficial or unverified channels. Do not disclose any personal or financial information. If you encounter such activity, report it to the respective platforms and exit the conversation immediately.

Members of the public may conduct online checks at the Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia’s (FIMM) website (https://www.fimm.com.my/search/) to verify whether individuals they are dealing with are registered with FIMM as Consultants.
