Following a thorough investigation conducted by our IT security, we have determined that the incident was caused by an internal system issue rather than an external threat.

Our investigation revealed that the incident was triggered by a technical glitch within our vendor application, resulting in certain anomalies that were initially misidentified as potential signs of a cyber-attack. Our immediate precautionary actions such as informing our investors early and “lock-down” of our portals and system whilst we conducted a thorough investigation on the anomalies were necessary, in accordance to our commitment to the highest standards of data security and privacy. 

We have continuously enhanced our cybersecurity measures to ensure swift and early detection, such as the one in this incident. This includes implementing advanced firewalls, conducting regular vulnerability assessments, and providing comprehensive employee training on cyber hygiene and best practices.
