Kenanga Investors’ Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer Mr Ismitz Matthew De Alwis was featured in an article published by The Edge regarding the Private Retirement Scheme industry in Malaysia. He highlights the importance of having a diversified portfolio to sustain one’s retirement funds and to refrain from depending on their EPF savings or PRS contributions alone. 

A well-balanced portfolio has the right mix of equities, fixed-income and other cash or tangible assets. He advises investors to supplement their EPF and PRS with other investment and savings vehicles as there is no “one single or best way to save for retirement”.
