Kenanga Investors’ Senior Portfolio Manager, Mr Liong Chee How was featured in Fundsupermart.com’s recent webcast episode of Ask The Experts.

In this session entitled 2H 2016 Malaysian Market Outlook - Malaysia’s Earnings Growth Continues to be Challenging, Mr Liong commented about the outlook for the Malaysian economy during the second half of 2016. He talked about the recent GDP moderation of the economy and the recent earnings downgrades by analysts for 2016 and 2017.

Mr Liong also shared his thoughts on finding investment opportunities during these volatile times and listed some sectors that the investment team currently favours. He recommended that investors carefully select funds that are compatible with their own investment objectives though he agreed that a defensive investment strategy may be an ideal choice considering unstable market conditions.
