Saving for your retirement has never been easier. The Employee Provident Fund's ("EPF") Members Investment Scheme (MIS) is an ongoing initiative that encourages eligible members to strengthen and diversify their retirement portfolio by means of using a pre-determined percentage of their savings from EPF Account 1 to invest with appointed fund management institutions.

Members can now invest online using the EPF i-Invest facility within the i-Akaun (Member) platform.

  1. What are the criteria to invest using the EPF i-Invest facility?
    • Kenanga Investors' funds are available to all eligible EPF i-Akaun individuals online.
    • Members may transfer up to 30% of his/her savings in excess of Basic Savings in EPF Account 1 for investments for members up to 55 years of age.
    • For members who are 55 years old and above, you may still invest provided you have savings in your EPF Akaun 55 (Akaun Emas).

  2. What are the steps to invest in Kenanga Investors' funds using the EPF i-Invest?
    • Log into i-Akaun
    • Select "Investment" tab to proceed
    • Select "Transaction" and subsequently "Buy" tab
    • Select "Kenanga Investors Berhad" on "Please Select FMI"
    • Select your fund from "Please Select Fund"
    • Enter amount and select " Proceed to checkout"
    • Select Kenanga Investors Bhd as FMI/IUTA and select "Buy"
    • Tick the checkbox and press "OK" on the declaration page
    • Complete account opening and transaction details; select "Confirm" to proceed
    • Select the declaration checkbox, Key-in the TAC number and select "Proceed" to confirm purchase
    • Select "Next" to complete the transaction on application summary page
