For the fourth consecutive year, KIB was affirmed an investment manager rating of IMR-2 by Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad, since first rated in 2017. The IMR rating on KIB reflects the fund management company’s well-established investment processes, sound risk management practices and strong operating track record. For 2020, the average one-year, three-year, and five-year annualised returns for its top 20 largest unit trust funds outperformed its benchmarks.
As at 30 November 2020, the Management Company manages 38 unit trust funds, 2 private retirement schemes (consisting of 6 core funds and 1 non-core fund), 2 exchange-traded funds (ETFs), 28 wholesale funds and other funds from government agencies, pension funds, insurance, corporate and individual clients with a total fund size of RM12.8 billion.
